Job summary

Allied Universal in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver. This role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and the chance to build experience with the industry leader.

You will work fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, enabling earnings growth while maintaining a stable base schedule. A valid driver license and high school diploma are required to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: a valid driver license, 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), high school diploma or equivalent, background check, drug screen, licensing requirements may apply, and drivers license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle entry/exit activity, shipping areas, and trailer parking areas per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access activity through required reports or electronic systems.
