Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Patrol Access Verification in Union City, NJ. This part-time position offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining experience in the security industry.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter.
