Allied Universal in Hattiesburg, MS is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, site-specific security and access-control procedures. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, log visitors, and respond calmly to incidents while maintaining safety and compliance at a food processing location.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at the site.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials per access-control policies.
• Screen vehicles and document deliveries/pickups; control access to receiving areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow site procedures; report observations promptly.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
