Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Reno, NV is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a part-time contract working with K-8th grade students. The role focuses on supporting students' educational participation and development while maintaining a balanced schedule.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing IEP-aligned therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and families, and documenting per state standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Nevada.
• Experience in school-based or healthcare OT settings.
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent populations' assessment and intervention.
• Familiarity with IEPs and compliance documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for improvement relating to functional participation at school.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation per state and school standards.
• Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to help students achieve best outcomes.
