Job summary

Voyageur Bus Company in Duluth, MN is seeking part-time School Bus Drivers with paid training to support daily routes, field trips, and special transportation needs. We offer on-site CDL training, company-funded profit sharing, and a flexible AM/PM schedule with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.

Prior transportation experience is not required as we train the right people from day one, and we provide a supportive, safety-focused work environment serving the Duluth community.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug test, and DOT physical.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset.
• No experience required — we train the right people.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and passengers on assigned routes, field trips, and charter events.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist passengers during boarding and unloading, including students and individuals with special needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and passengers.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
