BuddiesHR is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates for in-store data collection at designated local retailers, with 52 weeks of work including holiday weeks. You will scan barcodes using a mobile app, report quantities for about 45% of scanned items, and support store data quality.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and can stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and reach/squat to access products.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Repetitive hand/arm/leg movements expected.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Tech-savvy with mobile app usage.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in-aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and provide product quantities for about 45% of items.
• Complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Report to store within deadlines and complete display scanning across the store.
• Assist with Custom Projects that add 1–2 hours of work in peak weeks.
• Maintain dependability and quality in a flexible, independent role.
