Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Rockford, IL seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist. You will perform donor screening, vital signs, and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accurate record-keeping.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. You will use the Donor Information System and work under the Plasma Center Manager to ensure high-quality donor care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring glove use.
• Customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify opportunities to improve center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
