Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Appleton, WI is seeking a part-time Donor Screener/Phlebotomy support. You will handle donor intake, screen donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor compensation with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role offers 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays, with paid training provided. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and assist operations daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1+ year minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
