Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to independently service stores on a Texas route, displaying and stocking greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush, and more. You will manage inventories and coordinate with store staff to ensure on-shelf presentation.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role offers part-time hours, a preventive training path, and opportunities to grow within a national retail team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for updates and training.
• Willing to work weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Keep backroom areas organized and perform inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
