Job summary

Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring caregivers to serve our treasured clients across Kirkland and nearby areas, offering flexible schedules and competitive wages. As a Part Time Homecare Aide - HCA, you will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship following each client’s care plan.

Shifts span mornings to evenings and weekends, with opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care for caregivers seeking growth.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and lifting.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and desire to brighten the day for clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity and walking.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents to the office.
• Provide supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Assist with medications reminders.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments.
