Job summary

Visiting Angels - Kirkland, WA is seeking a Certified Homecare Aide (HCA) to support clients throughout the Greater King County area. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship in clients’ homes with a focus on safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state/office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Assist with mobility and errands.
