Job summary

Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring a Part Time Homecare Aide - HCA to support our clients in Kirkland and nearby areas with personal care, mobility assistance, meals, and companionship.

You will follow each client’s care plan, report health changes, and help with activities of daily living while delivering compassionate, respectful care. We offer flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement along with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking tasks within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.
