Job summary
The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes in accordance with established care plans. You will help with daily living activities, observe patient condition, and document changes for the supervising nurse while maintaining safety and dignity.
This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling and a competitive salary. Requirements include CPR certification, completion of Maxim competency program, and adherence to state/federal training
Qualifications
- Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable
- Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation
- PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations
- Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with plan of care, including baths, hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs as ordered
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation
- Provide ROM and extension therapy as ordered
- Help with laundry and home safety equipment use
- Observe and document patient condition and report changes
