Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes in accordance with each care plan. This part-time role involves direct daily living support, vital sign checks, safety supervision, and collaboration with a supervising nurse.

Responsibilities include helping with baths, hygiene, mobility, and routine care tasks, while adhering to the care plan, documenting observations, and ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• CPR certification current as per state rules.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living per plan of care (baths, hygiene, dressing, Toileting, feeding).
• Take and record vital signs when ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Assist with safe transfer and ambulation.
• Provide ROM and simple extensional therapies as ordered.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety and proper equipment use.
