Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes under an established care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, dressing, feeding, measuring vital signs, safe transfers, light housekeeping, and documenting patient condition for the supervising nurse. Part-time position with flexible hours; competitive pay and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with plan of care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Take and record vital signs as ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Ensure safe transfers and ambulation.
• Support exercise as outlined in the plan of care and perform ROM as ordered.
• Light housekeeping and patient laundry; maintain safety with equipment.
• Observe and document patient condition; report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Communicate clearly with client, family/caregiver and office.
