Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our healthcare setting. You will perform daily cleaning, floor care, waste management, and laundry tasks following infection prevention protocols.

This part-time, hourly role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to patient comfort and safety. Training and compliance with OSHA CMS and HIPAA standards are part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
