Forefront Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment. You will perform daily cleaning, disinfection, and laundry tasks while following infection prevention protocols and safety standards.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to contribute to patient well-being in a supportive team. The position is hourly, non-exempt with potential extended hours based on operational needs, and pays a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
• Able to follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Certifications in basic life safety or janitorial services are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces.
• Disinfect, sanitize, and maintain a sanitary environment according to standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently; assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Follow infection prevention protocols (OSHA, CMS, and applicable standards).
• Document work and participate in trainings and meetings.
