Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. This part-time, hourly role supports patients, residents, staff and visitors by performing daily cleaning, floor care, waste management, and laundry, following infection prevention protocols.

The ideal candidate will work part-time hours, be reliable, and adhere to OSHA, CMS and TJC standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces per organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
