Job summary

The Venue at Lenoir City is seeking part-time Event Attendants to assist with event set-up, tear-down, and light customer service. Hours are irregular and depend on upcoming events; work is on a rotating, as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or current high school student).
• Excellent customer service skills (server and/or bartending background preferred, but will train).
• Ability to follow directions and a strong team orientation.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate various events.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Set rooms for events as directed, including tables, chairs, and other furnishings.
• Tear down and clean event space post-function.
• Assist with load-in/load-out, serving, clearing of plates, buffet line and beverage replenishing.
• Keep restrooms and public areas neat; garbage removal.
• Provide supplemental service to caterers and other vendors as assigned.
