South Shore YMCA Early Learning Centers in Hanover, MA is seeking a part-time Teacher Float to cover multiple classrooms (preschool or toddler) based on certification and availability. The role aligns with our standard Teacher responsibilities and emphasizes safety, inclusion, and collaboration.

Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, nurturing relationships with children and families, maintaining a clean, safe learning environment, and ensuring compliance with EEC regulations

Qualifications

• Must hold EEC Teacher certification through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
• Knowledge of EEC regulations, QRIS standards, and NAEYC best practices.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Create & Implement: Develop engaging lesson plans that support children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development, across whichever classroom you're covering.
• Nurture & Support: Foster strong relationships with children and families, keeping them informed of their progress.
• Ensure Safety & Inclusion: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate & Grow: Work with each classroom's team of educators to maintain a positive, cohesive atmosphere.
• Meet High Standards: Maintain compliance with EEC regulations, NAEYC best practices, and quality standards.
