Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Custodial Team Member to help keep our center clean, safe and welcoming. This part-time role supports daily custodial tasks and maintenance, with a flexible schedule up to 28 hours per week.

You will work on-site, stock supplies, perform routine inspections, and model YMCA values in all interactions with members and guests. Prior custodial experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Experience in custodial or maintenance work is a plus but not required.
• Organized, able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
• Maintain stocked supply areas with towels, soap, sanitizer and other items.
• Empty and dispose of waste; keep custodial storage clean and organized.
• Inspect facilities and report maintenance needs; suggest solutions when appropriate.
• Demonstrate YMCA values in interactions with members, staff and guests.
• Represent the YMCA positively and support its mission-driven work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
