Job summary

Middlesex Recovery, a BayMark Health Services division, seeks a Part-Time Counselor Supervisor in Salem, NH. The role provides clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the counseling team in an outpatient substance use disorder program.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in a behavioral health field, NH licensure, and LCS credential, with experience supervising clinicians. Flexible part-time schedule and meaningful impact on patient outcomes are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current unrestricted licensure in New Hampshire.
• LCS credential required; MLADC, LICSW, or LCMHC credentials accepted.
• Experience supervising and mentoring counseling staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing licensure and other clinical staff as permitted by state regulations
• Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes
• Support counselors in case consultations, treatment planning, and clinical decision making
• Conduct individual and group supervision sessions
• Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of counseling staff
• Participate in quality assurance activities and chart reviews
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Support compliance with state licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and company policies
• Maintain a small caseload of counseling services as needed
