Job summary

Middlesex Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Counselor Supervisor in Salem, NH to provide clinical leadership and supervision to the counseling team. • Master's degree in counseling or related behavioral health field.
• Current unrestricted licensure in New Hampshire.
• Credentials: MLADC, LICSW, or LCMHC; LCS credential required.
• Experience supervising and mentoring counseling staff.
• SUD and Co-occurring mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing licensure and other staff as permitted by state regulations.
• Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.
• Support counselors in case consultations, treatment planning, and clinical decision making.
• Conduct individual and group supervision sessions.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of counseling staff.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and chart reviews.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Support compliance with licensing standards, accreditation, and policies.
• Maintain a small caseload of counseling services as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Counselor Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our counseling team. This position plays a key role in ensuring high quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence within our outpatient substance use disorder treatment program.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing licensure and other clinical staff as permitted by state regulations

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Current unrestricted licensure in the applicable state of New Hampshire
• One of the following credentials:
• MLADC
• LICSW
• LCMHC
• LCS (Licensed Clinical Supervisor) credential required
• Experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring counseling staff
• Experience working with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health populations preferred
• Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills

Required Credentials: MLADC, LICSW, or LCMHC, plus LCS credential.
