Job summary

Middlesex Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is seeking a Part-Time Counselor Supervisor in Salem, NH. This role provides clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the counseling team within our outpatient substance use disorder program.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with a passion for mentoring others, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering high quality patient care on a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current unrestricted licensure in the applicable state of New Hampshire.
  • LCS (Licensed Clinical Supervisor) credential required.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring counseling staff.
  • Experience working with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing licensure and other clinical staff as permitted by state regulations.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.
  • Support counselors in case consultations, treatment planning, and clinical decision making.
  • Conduct individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of counseling staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and chart reviews.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Support compliance with state licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain a small caseload of counseling services as needed.

Part-Time Counselor Supervisor -Salem, NH

Middlesex Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is a multi-site, multi-service organization providing opioid use disorder treatment and rehabilitation for patients across the country. Providing high quality, patient-centered treatment for addiction to prescription medications and other opioids remains the focus of our clinics.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Counselor Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our counseling team. This position plays a key role in ensuring high quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence within our outpatient substance use disorder treatment program.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current unrestricted licensure in the applicable state of New Hampshire
  • One of the following credentials:
    • MLADC
    • LICSW
    • LCMHC
  • LCS (Licensed Clinical Supervisor) credential required
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring counseling staff
  • Experience working with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health populations preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
