YMCA of the USA is seeking a Childwatch Attendant to create a safe, fun, and welcoming space where children can learn, explore, and thrive during every shift. You will supervise activities, lead games and crafts, and ensure the safety of every child with attentive, age-appropriate care.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive, patient, energetic, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead activities while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Commitment to YMCA values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility.
• Ability to complete required background and child abuse screenings.
• Ability to obtain required First Aid, CPR/AED, and YMCA certifications before start date.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and engage children in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment.
• Lead games, activities, crafts, and age-appropriate experiences.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every child through active supervision.
• Assist with diaper changes, toileting, and infant feedings as needed.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Childwatch/YKIDS area.
• Follow YMCA policies and safety procedures; complete trainings and staff meetings.
