Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for part-time/PRN shifts. You will scrub for surgical procedures, prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies, and support the OR team in delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification required.
• Completion of approved technologist program or 1 year of technologist experience expected.
• Current BLS certification must be active.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Physical requirements include lifting at least 35 pounds and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and assist in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgery.
• Transmit patient data and reports to the healthcare team accurately.
• Assist circulating nurse in OR setup and case preparation.
• Ensure necessary equipment and supplies are ready before procedures.
