Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for a part-time, PRN day-shift role. You will scrub for procedures, prep supplies, and support the surgical team under the supervision of the RN.

Responsibilities include maintaining OR readiness, communicating patient data to the team, and assisting with instrument sterilization. Requires CST certification, completion of technologist program or 1-year experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification is required.
• Completed technologist program or 1 year of technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification and basic reading, writing, and comprehension of English.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care duties delegated by the RN related to personal needs, comfort, and safety as a surgical team member.
• Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Assist circulating nurse in preparing the OR and transmit accurate information to the healthcare team.
