Job summary

Assisting Hands Chicago North is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to clients in their homes. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

You will offer companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, and safe home environments while building trusting relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a client’s home
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to meet applicable background check and employment requirements
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all positions

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home
• Provide medication reminders and assist with routines
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Provide transportation and run errands for clients
• Support daily living activities and independence
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
