Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Reading, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings, and a schedule that supports part-time work with potential for up to 40 hours per week.

Pay rate is $17.55 per hour. Candidates need at least 6 months of security experience, comfort with computers or tablets, and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; ability to learn new software.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and contractors following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to campus protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports.
