Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Behavioral Health Respite Treatment Advocate in Pike County to work with youth and families, providing advocacy and respite services in home, community and office settings. The role includes coordination of treatment plans and transportation as needed.

Compensation starts at $21 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and up to 19 hours per week. Flexibility with after-school hours, evenings and weekend availability is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher education is required or in progress.
• Experience in child welfare or social services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in youth treatment/service plan development in Pike County.
• Build trust with youth and assist in achieving goals.
• Provide 1-on-1 in-home support per treatment plan.
• Document conversations and billing-related paperwork.
• Identify community resources for youth development.
• Provide client transportation as needed.
