Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Behavioral Health Respite Treatment Advocate to support adolescents, youth, and families across home, community and office settings.

You will help develop youth treatment plans, build trusting relationships, coordinate transportation, document progress for billing, and connect families with community resources. Flexible hours and a part-time schedule, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree or enrollment; GED/HS diploma acceptable.
• Experience in child welfare or social services preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily and meet clients on a flexible schedule, including after-school/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in youth treatment/service plan development.
• Build trusting relationships with youth to support goal achievement.
• Provide oversight and participate in 1-on-1 activities per the treatment plan.
• Engage clients, document conversations and outcomes, and submit billing paperwork.
• Identify local resources and services for youth development and goal attainment.
• Provide transportation for clients to activities and appointments as needed.
