Qualifications

• Criminal Justice Associate’s Degree and teaching experience in the content area.
• Early Childhood Education Associate Degree; CPR certification required.
• EMS Associate Degree with Wisconsin DHS licensure requirements and EMS Section instructor cert.
• Fire Protection Technician Associate’s Degree; NFPA 1041 Instructor; CDL A preferred.
• Two years (4,000 hours) paid work experience in the program area; recent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and facilitate learning in the assigned courses according to the College’s core values.
• Meet student learning needs by incorporating a variety of teaching methods and assessments.
• Submit grades within the expected timeframe and maintain FERPA records.
• Complete required documentation for Accrediting and Governing Agencies.
• Provide timely verbal and written feedback to the students for growth.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and updating.
• Assist with student recruitment and promote College programs and services.
• Promote retention and student success through referrals to College services and resources.
• Maintain relationships with K‑12, DOC, community, and industry partners.
• Maintain proficiency in emerging trends and complete required training.
