Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communications or 18 graduate credits in Communications.
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics or 18 graduate credits in Mathematics.
• Master’s Degree in Biology/Chemistry/Earth Science/Physics or 18 graduate credits in the respective field.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology/Political Science/Economics/History/Anthropology/Geography/Philosophy or 18 graduate credits in Social Science.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and facilitate learning in assigned courses; establish a professional and safe learning environment; model workplace skills and enforce Student Code of Conduct.
• Meet student learning needs by using varied teaching methods and assessments.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant records and submit grades within the required timeframe.
• Provide timely verbal and written feedback to students to support growth.
• May participate in curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and updating.
• Assist with student recruitment and promote College programs and services.
• Promote retention and student success through referrals to College services and resources.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with K‑12, DOC, community, and industry partners beyond the classroom.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in occupational practices; complete required training and professional development.
