Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has an opening for a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Denison, TX. The role offers flexible, reliable hours and a base schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include access control procedures, customer service to employees and visitors, incident response, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, issue temporary badges as authorized, and report unauthorized access or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access control records and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
