Job summary

Christian Living Communities seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative services under the guidance of licensed therapists. The role emphasizes building trust with residents and supporting independence through exercise, mobility training, and activity participation.

You will work with residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehab services, documenting progress and coordinating with families and the care team in a warm, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitative services under the supervision of an OT.
• Assists in implementing treatment plans and teaching techniques.
• Evaluates residents' living skills and progress.
• Instructs residents and families on home programs and use of equipment.
• Documents patient care and progress.
• Collaborates with care team to support residents' independence.
