Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking licensed Optometrists (ODs) to deliver care in Skilled Nursing Facilities across the US. You can arrange a flexible schedule—from one day to full-time—while our team coordinates patients, facilities, and billing so you can focus on patient care.

You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and monitor diabetic eye health, glaucoma, and cataracts. New graduates are welcome; RVU-based compensation supports growth.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted optometry license in the state of employment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation to your assigned facilities.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations and routine vision evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions.
• Evaluate visual acuity and refractive needs; prescribe eyeglasses and corrective measures.
• Conduct diabetic eye evaluations and monitoring; glaucoma and cataract screening.
