Job summary

Capella University is seeking adjunct and part-time faculty in psychology to deliver instruction via FlexPath and GuidedPath formats. The role involves teaching online with a pre-designed curriculum and providing timely feedback to students.

The position requires a master's in psychology and preferably a doctorate, with at least three years of teaching and online experience. Occasional US travel may be required, and benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience preferred.
• Online teaching experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning and organizing course objectives.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction from a pre-designed curriculum.
• Provide high quality feedback within 48 hours of assessment submissions.
• Be available by phone, email, and in the courseroom to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings and training as required.
• Travel occasionally within the US for residencies or site visits as needed.
