Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Guest Advocate to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced store environment. You will help guests, promote benefits, and assist with checkout, returns, and digital tools while staying flexible to store needs.

As an On-Demand TM, you can create your own schedule by picking shifts via the myTime app; reliability and attendance are essential, with a commitment to at least one shift every few months and strong guest focus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication and guest service mindset.
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn Target systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests at various distances and engage professionally
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment and sign-in as needed
• Explain and direct guests on Wallet and Target App features and benefits
• Respond to returns and escalate issues following Target’s policies and procedures
• Deliver service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate safety compliance and ethical conduct at all times
• Support guest services operations while adhering to store policies and training requirements
• All other duties based on business needs.
