Job summary

Mission Valley Post Acute in Fremont is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a flexible on-call role within our rehabilitation team.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise COTAs, and educate patients and families on discharge planning and home safety. California OT license required; competitive hourly pay starting at $60+/hour based on experience, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve patient goals.
• Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and home safety strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes.
