Job Summary

  • Provide skilled therapy services to improve daily living skills, strength, mobility, coordination, balance, and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care teams to support patient goals
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety, and functional strategies
  • Complete documentation accurately and timelyFollow all facility, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehab, long-term care, or geriatric experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
License and Certification Requirements
  • Active California Occupational Therapist license required
  • NBCOT certification required
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Must be eligible to work in a skilled nursing/post-acute care setting
Compensation and Schedule
  • $54–$59 per hour
