Job summary

Jefferson RISE Charter School seeks reliable On-Call Substitute Teachers to provide classroom coverage for scheduled staff absences throughout the school year.

Substitutes are contacted 24–48 hours in advance, typically for full-day assignments; half-day opportunities may occur. You must maintain a safe, structured classroom and follow the absent teacher's plans and school expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual.
• Able to follow written lesson plans, directions, and school procedures.

Responsibilities
