Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of CAHEA School of Radiologic Technology and/or CAHEA School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology by NMTCB or ARRT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional duties in various technical procedures to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
• Operate specialized equipment to obtain images and test results.
• Administer diagnostic/therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; coordinate history with tests.
• Train students and staff as assigned; maintain certifications and CEUs.
