Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II for a Flexi/PRN Day Shift. You will perform Nuclear Medicine imaging, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and operate imaging equipment under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include dose management, patient preparation, and documentation, with a focus on safety and QA compliance. BLS, ARRT or CNMT certification, and a nursing support environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT certification required or active.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Nuclear Medicine imaging under physician supervision.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and manage dose administration.
• Operate radiology equipment and ensure QA standards are met.
• Educate patients and document procedures and outcomes.
