Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; CAHEA Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology training.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology by NMTCB or ARRT.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
• Experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals under authorized supervision.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures; correlate history with tests.
• Assist with scheduling, registration, image management and processing.
• Participate in training of students and staff and contribute to safety and ethics.
