Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking reliable Mortgage Field Inspectors in Hawaii to perform property inspections on behalf of mortgage companies. This 1099 independent contractor position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and territory-based workloads.

Inspectors travel locally, may inspect occupied or vacant properties, and use InspectorADE to submit reports. Prior experience helps but is not required; license requirements are minimal beyond a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with auto insurance to travel in your territory.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
• Computer with internet access
• Printer and basic office supplies
• Ability to obtain a Shield ID (Aspen Grove ABC#)
• HUD/InspectorKeys (onboarding with GIS provides a link)
• Voltstick
• Selfie stick
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE).
• Communicate regularly with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.
