Job summary

American Para Professional Systems (APPS) is seeking dependable phlebotomists and medical professionals to perform mobile life and disability insurance examinations as independent contractors. You choose your availability and schedule, working around your current commitments.

Examinations occur at clients’ locations within about 30 miles of your home, typically taking 15–45 minutes. Training is provided for EKGs when required, and compensation includes per-case pay plus mileage reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills.
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EMT, LPN, RN or similar clinical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic health screenings and medical histories.
• Measure vital signs and collect specimens (blood, urine, occasionally saliva).
• Perform EKGs when required (training provided).
• Complete paperwork and documentation accurately.
