Job summary

American Para Professional Systems (APPS) is seeking mobile phlebotomists and medical assistants to perform on-site life and disability insurance examinations. This independent contractor role offers flexible part-time income, allowing you to set your availability and choose appointments within a ~30 mile radius of home.

Examiners travel to clients, complete basic medical exams in 15–45 minutes, and receive biweekly direct deposit with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills.
Clinical experience in medical settings preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Perform basic health screenings and medical histories.
Measure height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and other required measurements.
Perform venipuncture and collect blood, urine, and occasionally saliva specimens.
Perform EKGs when required — training is provided.
Accurately complete examination paperwork and electronic documentation.
Prepare specimens for shipment and ensure they are shipped within 24 hours of collection.
Provide professional, courteous service to clients in their homes, workplaces, or other convenient locations.
