Job summary

Leidos seeks licensed mental health professionals to serve as Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) on a flexible, PRN schedule across DoW installation and community settings. Roles include adult, CYB, SOCOM positions with emphasis on resilience, outreach, and preventive counseling.

You will operate with minimal administrative burden, no insurance requirements, and focus on direct client support for Service Members and families, including embedded unit work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Behavioral Health Professions.
• Active licensure to practice in the U.S. (LCSW/LPCC/Psychologist).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling to Service Members and their families (adult, couples, family, child).
• Deliver preventative, solution‑focused mental health support without extensive paperwork.
• Work across installations, schools, and community settings as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and handoffs based on clinical judgment.
• Participate in outreach and education to enhance resilience.
