Job summary

Leidos seeks licensed mental health providers to serve as Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs across military installations and communities in the United States. The role offers flexible PRN-type scheduling with no insurance or treatment-plans overhead, focusing on counseling and prevention to support readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD) required.
• Licensure to practice at independent level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in a US state.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check (Public Trust).

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face counseling to Service Members and families (individual, couples, family, and children).
• Recommend referrals and handoffs based on clinical skills to military and community resources.
• Offer presentations on social skills and social-emotional learning for early childhood development.
• Build rapport with Service Members, spouses, and children at installations and community events.
• Help families with challenges related to military life, deployments, relocations, and separations.
