The Kensington in Hastings, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a dependable Medication Aide on an on-call basis to support residents in a caring, dignified environment. In this role you will safely administer medications per physician orders, document accurately, monitor residents, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Aide certification meeting Nebraska requirements.
• Compassionate, dependable and comfortable with older adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a care team.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications per physician orders and care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and records.
• Observe residents for changes and report to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity.
• Provide compassionate, attentive support during shifts.
• Work with the care team to ensure consistent, quality care.
